Help change a child’s life this summer!
Each year, Lena Pope’s Chapel Hill Academy (CHA) hosts Science Summer Camp for 80 lucky 4th-7th graders. This year’s camp is May 30–June 12, and you’re invited to be a part of the fun!
Every dollar you give by May 5 to help cover the costs of a child’s summer camp will be DOUBLED by a $10,000 Matching Grant. So please give generously today to inspire these future scientists!
- Your gift of $20 will be doubled to cover the cost of a camp t-shirt for 2 students.
- Your gift of $50 will be doubled to cover the cost of all 5 field trips for 2 students.
- Your gift of $100 will be doubled to cover the cost for meals and snacks for 2 students.
- Your generous gift of $350 will be doubled to cover the entire camp cost for 1 student.
- Your extra generous gift of $500 will be doubled to cover the cost of supplies for 2 teachers during science camp.
Science Summer Camp gives CHA students an experience they might never have otherwise. For some, this will mean leaving their neighborhood for the first time. For other students, it will mean the first time they’ve ever seen a place like Globe Life Field or the Fort Worth Zoo.
These lucky students will get the chance to be actual scientists, to not only think of science in a book, but to think of science in their hands and in their imagination.
