POSITION TITLE: Development Database and Operations Associate

SUPERVISOR: Director of Development

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The position oversees the operations and processes necessary to support
a relational fundraising department including overall database maintenance and management,
data and gift entry, acknowledgement and receipting, and prospect management systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
1) Maintain an accurate database of donor information, gift history, relational actions, and proposal
tracking.
2) Provide the Advancement team members with list pulls for events and appeals.
3) Maintain an accurate, up-to-date receipting process and provide consistent, high-quality
acknowledgements to donors and stakeholders.
4) Implement and maintain a coordinated prospect management information system.
5) Support donor cultivation and solicitation efforts, including donor visits, by preparing
briefing/debriefing materials and presentations.
6) Assist in implementing stewardship actions and tracking for Advancement team. Manage all
stewardship activities for new donors.
7) Assist Director of Marketing in managing and updating donor email subscription lists for email
marketing and communication purposes.
8) Maintain and ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of donations with agency Finance
department.
9) Provide support to the Director of Development and Chief Advancement Officer in day-to-day
operations of the Advancement Team.
10) Assist Advancement team with special projects and other duties as assigned; this includes
preparation and execution of special events, donations drives such as school supply and holiday
client assistance, and other various community engagement events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Educational/Certification: High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
2) 3+ years of development operational experience preferred.
3) Candidate must be goal and metrics driven; team oriented and possess analytical thinking skills.
4) Computer Skills required: Microsoft Office Suite with extensive Excel and Word Experience.
